In Green Of Each Window, a married man begins an affair with a married colleague while also patronizing paramours. He courts them with a poet’s enthusiasm, elevating them into muses. He falls insanely in love, which ultimately leads to his demise. But before his demise, he inhabits guilt, sorrow, a pandemic, and an insatiable yearning. He anoints himself Adonis as he wanders into the green of each window, contemplating and romanticizing counterfactuals. At its essence, GOEW is the melodrama of a breakdown.
